Welcome To The Dragon's Path
The Story
Two gangsters, one young and one middle-aged, have to deliver a briefcase of an unknown product to a powerful mobster. From the beginning of the story, which is mainly a road movie, the two main characters travel in a unique classic car to the place where the product is to be delivered.

Along the way they meet characters who seem to have come from a parallel dimension, the film relies on many surprising elements to play with the mixture of genres and atmospheres, another of its essential aspects.

Pre-Production
The pre-production of the film and the visualization of the script began in September 2024, when Stergio Esca visited the island of Cyprus for the September–October EAR Residency Program by MeMeraki (Limassol, Cyprus). A final exhibition was planned for the end of the program, and the directors accepted the challenge of presenting the final style of the pre-production to the audience through a live cinematic installation.
After many meetings about the film’s aesthetics, the two directors finally found a way to blend styles and genres in the best way to serve the script. Character design and storyboarding were the next steps in the process.

The storyboard draws inspiration from the artworks of Mœbius and various comic book films. Its style follows the aesthetics of 1980s and 1990s neo-noir cinema, which often visualized the atmosphere of a unique crime story.​
