Welcome To The Dragon's Path
The Story
Two gangsters, one young and one middle-aged, have to deliver a briefcase of an unknown product to a powerful mobster. From the beginning of the story, which is mainly a road movie, the two main characters travel in a unique classic car to the place where the product is to be delivered.
Along the way they meet characters who seem to have come from a parallel dimension, the film relies on many surprising elements to play with the mixture of genres and atmospheres, another of its essential aspects.

Pre-Production
The pre-production and visual exploration of The Dragon’s Path began in September 2024, when Scar GRS attended the September–October EAR Residency Program by MeMeraki in Limassol, Cyprus.
During the residency, a final public exhibition was planned as part of the program. Rather than presenting a conventional preview, the directors embraced the challenge of revealing the soul of the film through a live cinematic installation — offering the audience a first encounter with the film’s visual language, atmosphere, and emotional direction.
Following an intense period of dialogue and aesthetic research, the two directors gradually shaped a shared vision, blending genres and visual styles in a way that served the inner rhythm of the script. Character design and storyboarding naturally followed, becoming the backbone of the film’s visual architecture.
Here’s what happened.
The storyboard draws inspiration from the visionary artwork of Mœbius, as well as the visual grammar of classic and contemporary comic-book cinema. Its tone echoes the neo-noir aesthetics of the 1980s and 1990s — an era where crime stories were rendered as moods, shadows, and psychological landscapes rather than mere plots.
The Dragon’s Path unfolds as a cinematic journey through these influences, where noir streets dissolve into fantasy, and reality bends toward myth.
When the streets meet fantasy, the path begins.
