Manuel González-Espresati Alventosa
Director

Manuel González-Espresati Alventosa is one of the two directors of The Dragon's Path. He began his professional studies in photography in 2011, working with both analogue and digital photography, as well as image editing software. He later completed an internship at an image editing company. From September 2014 to June 2016, he studied filmmaking at the Bande à Part film school in Barcelona, Spain. During this period, he completed several internships in screenwriting, video editing, and directing, among other roles, and created two short films, serving as both director and screenwriter.

In January 2024, together with Stergio Esca (Thessaloniki, Greece), following several collaborations, he co-founded an international label for independent film productions called Iris Umbra Pictures, with partners in Greece, Cyprus, Spain, the Netherlands, France, and other European countries.

In 2022, he made his directorial debut with the short film No Witches Around, an indie production with an international cast and crew, shot in Cyprus. The film received a Jury’s Special Mention at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival in 2022 and was selected for the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival in 2023. In the same year (2023), in collaboration with Savvas Christou and Cult Experiences, he took on multiple roles—including scriptwriter, director, and actor—for the mockumentary short film The Monster: Los Demonios de la Locura, which was released in 2025.

In June 2024, he participated in an independent feature film titled Two Truths and A Lie, filmed in Utrecht, Netherlands, serving as Art Director, Producer, and Costume Designer.
